No Labelz / Out in the Bay

Out in the Bay is a registered charity (No. 1153064) dedicated to supporting and empowering the LGBTQIA+ community in the Lancaster District. Our core activities include:

• Lancaster and Morecambe Prides
• Diversity and Inclusion Training
• Offering Volunteering
• Mental Health Support
• Gender Identity Support

The No Labelz Housing Project is a four-bed housing project in the West End of Morecambe aimed at LGBTQ+ young people aged 18 to 25 years who are homeless with additional needs and are in need of support. Residents are required to attend activities, counselling and education as part of their tenancy at No Labelz the aim is to equip them with the independent living skills to manage their own tenancy.

As a Lived Experience Organisation, every staff member and volunteer brings their own lived experience, enabling us to genuinely understand and empathise with the challenges our community faces. Whether it’s mental health struggles, substance misuse, domestic abuse, sexual health, or other issues, we draw on our experiences and use a person-centred approach to empower our community to live their best lives.
