We are Growing Well, an established independent organic farm-based registered mental health charity located on the outskirts of Kendal, and at Tebay services on the M6. We provide a safe, supportive, working environment to our volunteer participants to nurture long term mental health recovery through meaningful physical activity and personal development opportunities. We provide targeted mental health intervention within a horticulture enterprise. We offer a safe and supportive working environment incorporating activity and support to nurture mental health recovery. Our Green Care approach combines natural surroundings, social context, and meaningful activities.
We aim to remove as many barriers to engaging with our service as possible and with that in mind we provide a free minibus service, once a week to and from Morecambe every Wednesday.
